The Underhound's origin is muddled the same as most history. At one point or another, wild dogs from the surface made their ways into the network of tunnels beneath the Southern Plains. Millennia of isolation and possible magical corruption has left them twisted and gnarled in adaptation to the dank underground. Their once dense fur has all but disappeared, leaving only naked and mottled skin accented by their white, unseeing eyes and large teethed muzzle. These creatures travel in irritable packs and primarily serve as an easily deterred nuisance to domesticated Coleomagna flocks, occasionally managing to steal away one of their young for a meal. Their howling frequently acts as a backdrop to the typical Achashveros atmosphere.
